Obsessed with Rose Gold, featuring Zoeva makeup

Sono una grande fan dei pennelli da trucco ed erano mesi che meditavo sull'acquisto di un set di pennelli Zoeva, soprattutto dopo averne sentito parlare e riparlare in maniera positiva ed essendo alla ricerca di un kit essenziale e poco ingombrante da poter portare con me in viaggio.
Così la settimana scorsa mi sono decisa ad ordinarli e proprio oggi mi è arrivato il pacco direttamente dalla Germania: si può iniziare una nuova settimana meglio di così? :)
Mi sono sentita come una bambina il giorno di Natale mentre aprivo la confezione e sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa dalla cura e attenzione con cui il mio ordine è stato incartato (Grazie Mudja e Natalia!).

I am a HUGE fan of makeup brushes and it's been months I've been meditating upon the purchase of a set of Zoeva makeup brushes, especially since I have been told so many positive things about this brand and being in the lookout of the perfect kit to take with when traveling.Therefore, the last week I decided to place my order and today I received the parcel straight from Germany: what a better way to start the week off, isn't it? :)I felt like a kid on Christmas day while opening the box and I was pleasantly surprised by the care and attention my order had been wrapped up (thank you Mudja and Natalia!).

Ecco alcuni motivi del perché adoro questo set di pennelli:
♥ Innanzitutto sono di colore ROSE GOLD (sono personalmente ossessionata da tutto ciò che è di colore oro rosato);
♥ Fanno il loro figurone come accessorio su qualsiasi tavolo da makeup;
♥ La pochette che li contiene è pratica e ha un bel design;
♥ Sono perfetti da portare con sé in viaggio e occupano davvero poco spazio;
♥ Sono fatti sia con setole sintetiche che naturali, il che significa che si possono utilizzare sia prodotti in polvere che in crema (ad es. blush) e la sfumatura viene meravigliosamente;
♥ Non perdono setole durante l'utilizzo o quando li si lava;
♥ Questo set è perfetto per chi è alle prime armi perché ha tutto quello che serve per un trucco completo (ci sono quattro pennelli viso e quattro pennelli occhi);
♥ Sono un buon investimento, sono circa 8€ a pennello il che rende il prezzo del set molto competitivo rispetto a pennelli venduti singolarmente (anche di altre marche come MAC o Real Techniques).

Here are some reasons why I love this set of brushes:
♥ First, they are in ROSE GOLD (and I am obsessed with rose gold);
♥ The brushes are a statement accessory for every beauty lover’s dressing table;
♥ The brush clutch is handy and has a beautiful design;
♥ They are perfect to take with on the go when traveling as staples;
♥ The brushes are made with both synthetic and natural bristles, which means you can use both powder and cream (e.g. Blush) based products, and the blending is WONDERFUL;
♥ No run away bristles when applying or washing;
♥ This set is perfect for beginners because it has everything you need for your daily make up routine (there are four face brushes and four eyes brushes);
♥ Amazing investment as the brushes are about 8€ each, which makes the price very competitive with brushes sold individually (even from other brands like MAC or Real Techniques).

The Rose Golden Eyeshadow Palette

Assieme ai pennelli ho acquistato inoltre una delle ultime palette uscite: la Rose Golden Eyeshadow Palette, ovvero la Palette da Principessa. Non è una coincidenza che anch'essa sia in caldi toni oro-rosati. Mi ricorda un po' la palette Naked 3 della Urban Decay, anche se i colori sono chiaramente diversi. Gli ombretti di questa palette sono anch'essi molto pigmentati, il che rende l'applicazione e la sfumatura dei colori davvero molto semplice.

Che cosa ne pensate dei prodotti Zoeva e soprattutto dei pennelli? Io personalmente li adoro e consiglio caldamente a chi fosse intenzionata ad acquistare dei pennelli, di farci un pensierino. Non ve ne pentirete :)

Together with the brushes I also purchased one of the newest Zoeva palettes: the Rose Golden Eyeshadow Palette, aka “The Princess Palette”. It is not a coincidente at tall that this one is in rose gold tones either (I just love Rose Gold, sorry!). It reminds me a little of Urban Decay’s Naked 3, although the colors are obviously different. The eyeshadows are highly pigmented and very easy to apply and blend.

 What do you think of Zoeva products and its brushes?  I personally love them and I highly recommend the purchase to those who are willing to buy brushes but aren’t sure from which brand yet. You won’t regret it, I promise! :)
